Luteolin, on the one hand, reduces DNA damage and side effects of radiotherapy by removing the free radicals produced by radiation, on the other hand, luteolin itself can inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells, thus improving the efficacy. Oral luteolin can reduce the toxicity of adriamycin and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy drugs.
